What is Semaglutide ?
Semaglutide is the compounded form of the name brand "Ozempic/Wegovy." Due to medication shortages, the FDA has allowed compounding pharmacies to make this medication. Pleaase note Semaglutide compound is not FDA approved. The only FDA approved form of semaglutide is from the pharmaceutical company that make Ozempic/Wegovy. Ozempic/Wegovy is FDA approved for chronic weight management. This is a GLP-1 agonist that works by triggering the body to release insulin from the pancreas, blocking glucagon receptors in the body (which raise blood sugar), slow stomach emptying, and increase how full you feel after eating.
What is Tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide is the compounded form of the name brand "Mounjaro/Zepbound." Due to medication shortages, the FDA has allowed compounding pharmacies to make this medication. Please note Tirzepatide compound is not FDA approved. The only FDA approved form of Tirzepatide is from the pharmaceutical company that make Mounjaro/Zepbound. Mounjaro/Zepbound are FDA approved chronic weight management. Tirzepatide combines a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist and a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor, Together these work to increase weight reduction, by triggering the body to release insulin from the pancreas, blocking glucagon receptors in the body (which raise blood sugar), slow stomach emptying, and increase how full you feel after eating.
What are the benefits of Tirzepatide?
Benefits with tirzepatide were noted with respect to changes in waist circumference, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, fasting insulin level, and lipid levels (Table 2, Table 3, and Figs. S6 and S7). At week 72, most (95.3%) of the participants with prediabetes at baseline in the tirzepatide groups had reverted to normoglycemia, as compared with 61.9% of participants in the placebo group.

Who is a good candidate for Tirzepatide ?
Tirzepatide injection for chronic weight management in adults with obesity (body mass index of 30 kilograms per square meter (kg/ m2) or greater) or overweight (body mass index of 27 kg/m2 or greater) with at least one weight-related condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes or high cholesterol) for use, in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.

What is the best time to administer Tirzepatide /Semaglutide?
Tirzepatide can be administered weekly, at any time of day but on the same day each week, with or without meals.
Where should Tirzepatide /Semaglutide be administered?
Tirzepatide/Semaglutide should be injected subcutaneously (fat): abdomen, upper arms, abdomen or thighs.
What is the dosing schedule for Semaglutide?
All individuals start at the 0.25mg injection dosage x 2 weeks increasing to 0.5mg x 4 weeks (6 weeks total for first prescription). From here another increase to 1mg x 4 weeks, 1.7mg x 4 weeks, max dose 2.5mg weekly. Your provider will instruct you on when to increase doses at your scheduled monthly visits. For some, you may never need more than 1mg weekly. If weight loss plateaus, you will be instructed to increase dosage at increments no shorter than every 4 weeks. Never increase prior to 4 weeks and never exceed 2.50mg of Semaglutide.
What is the maintenance dose of semaglutide?
The maintenance dose of Semaglutide is 1.7-2.4mg once weekly. But everyone is different, so dose adjustments will be made with individually, some people continue to have weight loss from lower doses.
What is the dosing schedule for Tirzepatide?
All individuals start at 2.5mg injection weekly x 4 weeks. It is important to note, dosage increases are individualized. Increased doses occur, no shorter than every 4 weeks, with the following increments 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.
What is the maintenance dose of Tirzepatide?
The maintenance dose of Tirzepatide is 10-15 mg once weekly. But everyone is different, so dose adjustments will be made individually, some people continue to have weight loss from lower doses.
When is Tirzepatide /Semaglutide contraindicated?
If there is a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MENS2) or in case of hypersensitivity to Tirzepatide.
What are the risks of thyroid tumor on semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
In animal studies, there were cases of thyroid tumors or thyroid cancer with semaglutide/Tirzepatide. It is not known whether these effects would occur in people.

What if I book the initial prescription appointment and the provider tells me I am not a candidate?
During the initial prescription appointment, you will be sent an intake form and consent form vial email/text. This will be reviewed in detail during your first appointment, if the provider finds that you are not a good candidate for this treatment, you will not be charged.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, we are not accepting insurance for the weight loss program at this time.

We do NOT offer refunds for orders placed, goods received, and/or services rendered. Following FDA regulations, all prescription medications once dispensed by the compounding pharmacy cannot be returned. We do not guarantee results.
